Cambodia's sole winery, Prasat Phnom Banan Winery, is situated approximately 10 kilometers south of Battambang, nestled between the city and the historic Prasat Banan temple complex. Established in 1999 by Chan Thay Chhoeung and his wife, Leng Chanthol, the winery began producing wines in 2004. The winery cultivates Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon grape varieties to produce red wines. In addition to wines, they also produce a brandy, which has a distinctive bouquet.
