Job Scope
As a Full Stack Developer at SipSip, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining our state-of-the-art platform. You will work on both front-end and back-end development to ensure that it is visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for performance, user experience and functionality. You will collaborate closely with designers and product managers, to bring our vision to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, enhance and maintain scalable web applications and APIs for SipSip’s platform.
- Optimize performance and scalability to ensure a seamless user experience. Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility for a consistent user experience.
- Optimize website performance, including page load times and scalability.
- Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, interactive web pages.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues promptly.
- Conduct regular testing and debugging to maintain a high-quality website.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to suggest and implement innovative solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of experience in full stack development.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular or Vue.js.
- Proficiency in back-end technologies: Node.js, PHP, Python (Django/Flask), or Ruby on Rails.
- Experience with database management: SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
- Proficiency in version control systems like Git.
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress or Shopify.
- Knowledge of website optimization techniques, including SEO best practices.
- Strong understanding of responsive and adaptive design.
- Strong understanding of web security, authentication, and data protection.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and payment gateway integration.
- Familiarity with wine, spirits, or beverage industry is a plus.
- Understanding of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to track website performance.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating user-friendly designs.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
